FAQ'S

Q+A's to help get your website project up and running as quickly as possible.

general

How do we start a project?

Schedule a call, visit calendly.com/deadgood, or call us. After our call, we will draft a proposal, which will include an estimated scope of work and quote. We'll raise an invoice for the project once the scope of work has been approved, along with a 50% deposit. Your Webflow website process begins with the organisation of a Kick-off Meeting, as soon as the deposit has been received.

How long do projects usually take?

A 'typical' project takes between six and eight weeks, but it varies based on the scope of work.
A small site with limited functionality could launch within a quicker timeframe, whereas a site with more pages and more functionality requirements takes longer.

What budgets do you work with?

Engagement levels start at £2,500. We do manage smaller budget projects, but these are usually Webflow development-only or on behalf of other agencies. How can you find out about the specific investment required? Schedule a call and we can discuss your plans and schedule.

What are the payment terms?

For most projects, a deposit of 50% is required. Upon the design's approval, we bill another 25%, and then before the website goes live, we charge the final 25%. Rather than charging inflated hosting rates, we charge directly through Webflow for transparency. You can view Webflow site plan prices here. Our monthly support retainer (minimum 6 months) includes a bank of hours we can use to work on the website for you. We might use these hours to develop the website further or to update the content on the website. If, for example, you have a blog on your website but don't want to add the blog articles yourself, then we can use the time bank to enter and publish the content for you.

Do you work with clients outside of the UK?

Yes. Our tools are cloud-based, enabling us to work remotely with clients in any location.

What if I don’t like the website you build?

You don't have to worry about us delivering a website you won't absolutely love. To make sure that we are meeting the needs of your business, we hold multiple revisions throughout the design and development process.
